About The Academy

We are delighted to be expanding our Monday through Friday Before and After School Programs. Our After School Action Adventures Program continues daily from 2:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m.

Our new programs include:

• Mandarin Chinese Club
• the Academy Children’s Theatre (ACT)
• Rise & Shine, Stretch & Grow

The Mandarin Chinese Club
The Mandarin Chinese Club, will meet Monday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. Children will learn the fundamentals of this truly amazing culture and language at a time when their minds are able to easily grasp its complexities. Through games and hands on activities, children will learn basic communicative skills in listening and speaking.

The Academy Children’s Theatre (ACT)
The Academy Children’s Theatre (ACT) will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. Students will be “center stage” as they play theatre games, explore rhythm, movement, music, dance and performance. Simultaneously children will gain selfconfidence, cooperation and teamwork skills. Presentations for parents will be offered throughout the program.

Rise & Shine, Stretch and Grow
Rise & Shine, Stretch and Grow is available Monday through Friday mornings, from 8:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. During these hours children will be engaged in stretching activities as well as reading, songs, games and many other activities to enrich the beginning of their day.
